On Sunday November 8, 2020 Alan Karl Hansen died peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a long illness.
He was born to a military family on September 10, 1955 and spent his childhood traveling the world. He was a avid New England sports fan. He was a chicken connoisseur. He was the best uncle any kid could ask for.
He graduated from Nashoba Tech in 1973 and worked as a Printer, security guard, and in various restaurants throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie (Glass) Hansen, and his father Major Arthur D Hansen (USAF)
He leaves behind his longtime companion Jeanne O'Leary, sister Karen (Hansen) Michener and brother in law Lester Michener, his brother Arthur A Hansen, and his adoring nieces Joy (Michener) Fisk, Ruth (Michener) Skillman, Sarah Michener, Amy (Hansen) Smith, and his nephew Eric Hansen. He was equally attentive to his grand nieces Kaitlyn (Hansen) Hart, Megan Hansen, and Sarah Hansen and will be sorely missed by all.

We will all miss your dark sense of humor, your delight at being a miserable Sox fan, your uncanny memory, and your genuine, sweet caring nature. You had a contagious laugh, a heart of gold, and as you often reminded us...you had fantastic hair.
