Alfred A. Caron, 80, of Merrimack passed away on Friday, May 20 ^th , 2022 at his home. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 50 years, Cynthia (Stanley) Caron on July 5 ^th , 2015.

Born in West Stewartstown, NH on April 21 ^st , 1942, Al was one of 8 children of the late Albert and Germain (Beniot) Caron. He was raised in West Stewartstown and grew up working on the family farm.

Al worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver for many years, working for M&R Excavation, Longa's, National Feed and Continental Paving. When he wasn't working, Al enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and spending time with his family.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his two sons, Michael "Moose" Caron and his wife Helen, and Maurice "Mo" Caron and "his fiancé Kitti Rondeau, all of Merrimack; three grandchildren, Brandon, Shannon and Stephanie Caron; three great grandchildren, Parker, Jaxson and Aiden Caron; seven siblings, Anna Gaudette, Philip Caron, Paul Caron, Ronald Caron, Clair Perry, Bob Caron and Theresa Ferren-Avery along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Friday, May 27 ^th , 2022 from 10 AM – 12 Noon, followed by a precession to Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack for a graveside committal service.
