Anthony "Tony" J. Pellegrino, 78 of Merrimack passed away on Wednesday, November 17 ^th , 2021 at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua after a period of declining health.

He was born in Lawrence, MA on September 18 ^th , 1943 to the late Samuel and Josephine Pellegrino. Raised in educated in Lawrence, Tony graduated from Lawrence High School and received an Associate's Degree from Northeast Institute.

Tony spent most of his working career for Sanders but also spent 23 years working part-time for the Merrimack Police Department. He was also a former state representative for 6 years.

He was pre-deceased by his first wife Madeleine (Delisle) Pellegrino on April 4 ^th , 1996 and his second wife Valerie (Delorey) Pellegrino on October 14 ^th , 2021.

Surviving members of his family include his son, Steven Pellegrino and his wife Debbie; his daughter, Karen Durost and three grandchildren, Ethan Durost and Kelly and Claire Pellegrino.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, November 27 ^th , 2021 from 9 -10:30 AM in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow and be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
