Arthur "Art" M. Stratton, 57, of Merrimack, NH, died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, April 5, 2011.

Art was born on November 14, 1952 the son of M. "Mel" Norcross and Edna (Brown) Stratton in Cambridge, MA

Art lived in Merrimack for the past 29 years coming from Arlington, MA. He was employed at Verizon in Massachusetts as an engineer. He enjoyed traveling and coaching baseball and basketball.

Art is survived by his wife of 34 years, Arlene (McNamara) Stratton of Merrimack; 2 sons, Patrick Stratton and his fiancé, Jessica Maas, Thomas and his wife Kristin all of Merrimack; 2 grandchildren Austin and Gabriella Stratton of Merrimack; 3 brothers, Sandy and his wife Ellen Stratton of Plymouth, MA, John and his wife Debby Stratton, Gary and His wife Debbie Stratton all of Reading, MA ; several nieces and nephews and many loving in-laws.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Calling hours will be held Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 5-7 pm at the Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH. A Mass of Christen Burial will be held at St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack, NH, on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Last Rest Cemetery, Baboosic Lake Road.
