Barbara J. (Frank) Colbert, 65, of Sanford, ME passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15 ^th , 2021 at her sister's home in Bedford, NH.

She was born in Brighton, MA on December 21 ^st , 1955 to Robert J. Frank of Salem, NH and the late Jane (Flahive) Carr. She was raised in Woburn, MA graduated from Woburn High School and received her Bachelor's degree from Lowell University.

Barbara was last employed working as a retail merchandiser for Hallmark. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, reading, flowers, her cats, nature and exploring her beloved State of Maine. She will be remembered for her optimism, encouragement, smiles and infectious laugh.

Along with her father Robert Frank, she will be forever loved and remembered by her son Nathaniel Colbert and his father William "Bill" Colbert; three siblings, Carol Grant and her husband Thomas ,Susan Deyermenjian and her partner Matthew Surette, and Robert Frank and his wife Katherine (Kallivrousis) along with many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at a later date.
