Barbara Jean Haley, 91, of Amherst passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday May 8 ^th , 2021. She was pre-deceased by her husband William F. Haley, Jr. on June 6 ^th , 2013.

Barbara was born in Rumford, Maine on June 18 ^th , 1929, daughter of the late Edward and Francis (Gillespie) Susbury. She was raised in Rumford, ME and Lowell, MA and graduated from Lowell  High School.

Barbara was a registered nurse for many years and was employed by the State Hospital in Danvers, MA.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her beloved son and daughter in-law, David William and Sue Haley of Amherst; five grandchildren, Barbara Murphy and her husband Michael of Pembroke, MA, Katie Thomas and her husband Mark of Beverly, MA, Victoria Haley of Watertown, MA and her two adopted granddaughters, Kelsey Hunt and Sarah Ashby along with five great-grandchildren, Grayson and Quinn Murphy and Lucy, Jane and Nolan Thomas.

A graveside service will be held at Last Rest Cemetery, Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack on Monday, May 17 ^th , 2021 at 11 AM.
