Bertha K. Henderson's Obituary
Bertha K. Henderson, 79, of Merrimack passed away on Tuesday July 2, 2013 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua after a brief illness.
She was born on May 9, 1934 in Newport, NH to the late Oscar and Impi (Kiviaho) Kainu.
Mrs. Henderson was pre-deceased by her husband Rene Henderson in 1991, a daughter, Kay Henderson, and a sister, Kay Brown.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Guy Henderson, and Lee and his wife Valerie Henderson, both of Merrimack; six grandchildren; two brothers, Lauri Kainu of FL and Oscar Kainu Jr of NH; a sister, Alli Wheeler of Springfield, NH and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday July 10 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations in Bertha's name be made to Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, Washington, DC 20036
