Betty Jenkins Smith, 91, of Merrimack NH passed away peacefully at her home on January 12 ^th , 2022.

She was born in North Ferrisburgh, Vermont, the daughter of George and Wilma (Bushey) Jenkins and raised in Vergennes, Vermont.

Betty and her family moved to Merrimack, NH in 1963, when her husband Jack began working as an air traffic controller for the FAA in Nashua, NH.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Jack, her sisters Peanut Bushey and Joan Cothren and her brother Robert Jenkins.

She is survived by her six children, Clyde and Song Evarts of Tampa, FL, Mary Allaire, Peter Smith, Jacqueline and James Drover, Diane "Dede" Smith and Danny Smith, all of NH; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Joyce and Al Commo of Virginia.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Monday, January 17 ^th , 2022 from 2 – 5 PM. A Graveside service will be held in Last Rest Cemetery, Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Tuesday, January 18 ^th at 12 noon.
