Beverly Roy, lovingly known as Aunty Babe and Grandma Babe to many, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, from natural causes related to heart failure. She was 88 years old.

Beverly was born on January 21, 1938, in Nashua, New Hampshire, during a home birth in the middle of a snowstorm — a fitting beginning for a woman whose life would be filled with warmth, resilience, adventure, and love. She was one of seven children.

She was the devoted wife of Robert Jean Roy and a loving mother to Gerald, Diane, and Dorothy Roy. Beverly was a cherished grandmother to William Maas, Kimberly Bellemore, Jessica Maas, Danielle Brideau, and Peter Brideau, and a proud great-grandmother to Alexis, Stacy, Elena, Desmond, William, Bryson, and Calvin.

Beverly's siblings were Evelyn, Gene, Glen, Norman ("Buzzy"), Jimmy, and Nancy. She is survived by her sister, Nancy Fortier, and many nieces and nephews. All of her other  brothers and sisters predeceased her.

Beverly was a homemaker at heart and poured her love into caring for her family and home. She had many hobbies and interests throughout her life, including bowling, camping, gardening, and traveling. She briefly worked for Avon and also with the Paralyzed Veterans Association, always finding ways to support others.

Known for keeping family traditions alive, Beverly hosted many holidays and gatherings,  never forgot a birthday, and faithfully sent cards filled with long messages, stories, and updates. She had a special way of keeping everyone connected and was truly the glue that held her family together.

Her joyful young spirit, strong faith, and deep love for her family will be remembered always.

Services will be held on February 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH 03303.

Beverly leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and beautiful memories that will live on through generations.
