Billy G. Philpot's Obituary
Billy G. Philpot, 75 of Merrimack, NH died Friday May 25, 2012 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.
He was born in Mena, AR on Sept. 30, 1936 a son of the late Jerry and Venia (Egger) Philpot.
Mr. Philpot was an Airman in the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict and he was the man.
Before retirement, he was employed as a truck driver at Atlas Paper in Woburn, MA for 33 years.
Members of his family include his wife of 47 years, Beatrice (Scheri) Philpot, two sons, Billy Philpot Jr. of Lake Park, FL, and Richard Philpot of Charlestown, MA, three daughters, Roberta Crossman, of Merrimack, Elizabeth Philpot of MA, and Nancy Lee Charles of NH, 9 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild, and a brother, Timothy Philpot of AR.
Memorial Calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, Wed from 5-8 PM. Interment in the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen will be held at a later date.
