Obituary

With deep sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of Dr. Boris Naprta, 57, from pancreatic cancer on April 23 rd , 2021. He was born in Osijek, Croatia where he went to medical school and met his wife, Anica. Boris worked as a physician during the war in Croatia and moved to the United States in 1992. He graduated from UCONN Internal Medicine Residency and worked as a primary care physician in Oklahoma before moving to New Hampshire in 2004. He dedicated his professional life to working with the community and Veterans Affairs. He cared deeply for his patients and was loved by them. Boris was a charismatic and gregarious man who made friends easily due to his humor, wisdom, and integrity. He lived a beautiful life filled with joy, laughter, and love for his family. Boris will be honored and missed by his wife of 31 years, Dr. Anica (Vrdoljak) Naprta, daughters Sara and Emma Naprta, and all his family and friends. May he rest in peace and love.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend walk-thru calling hours on Saturday May 1 st from 1 - 4 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home, located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, NH. Due to COVID and with respect to everyone's safety, masks will be required for attendance and social distancing will be enforced. We are asking people to walk through and pay their respects, but please do not stay inside the funeral home to allow an opportunity for others to visit. Memorial contributions in Boris' honor may be made to the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH.
