Brian Chisholm, age 54, passed away on October 11, 2026, after a courageous fight against colon cancer.
Brian was a reserved man who did not always express his feelings openly, but his actions spoke volumes when it came to the people he cared about most. A quiet man with a sharp wit, he loved nothing more than a lively game night, a trip to the casino, and stirring the pot just enough to get a reaction out of the room.
Brian spent much of his early life in Nashua, NH. As the youngest of four brothers, Brian grew up in a family where teasing was the ultimate love language. He loved his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Patty), David (Brenda), and Steven (Dawn), deeply and would have done absolutely anything for them.
Above all else, his children, Kyle (Jocelyn) and Kaitlyn (Isaiah), were his world. Though he did not always say it in words, his immense pride and deep love for them were unmistakable. His role as grandpa to his grandson, Hardin, also brought him immeasurable joy and some of his happiest moments.
Brian is also survived by his beloved mother, Patricia. He was predeceased by his father, Donald.
He leaves behind a legacy of quiet love, sharp humor, and family game nights filled with laughter. In accordance with Brian’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at a later date, with details to be determined by the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Brian’s memory to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance.
