Brian L. Pelland, age 57, born March 26, 1966 in Nashua NH passed away Friday September 8, 2023 in Merrimack NH.

A lifelong resident of Southern New Hampshire, Brian graduated from Nashua High School in 1984.  After trying out a few different occupations, he joined Worthen Industries in Nashua where he had a thirty plus year career.  He had so many friends at Worthen and our family is so thankful for their unwavering support these past few years.

Brian had a deep love of family and family celebrations.  He never missed an opportunity to entertain and was an accomplished grill master.  He was always first to volunteer for any assignment, and he was incredibly handy, able to fix almost anything using a few random items.  He was most definitely the "MacGyver" in our family.

He enjoyed being outdoors and loved nature, spending a lot of time bird watching.  Before falling ill, you could often find him hiking the many trails that lead to the top of Mount Monadnock.  Later in life he rediscovered a passion for fishing that was imparted on him by his maternal grandmother who taught him to fish as a youngster after he proclaimed his boredom.  He had a small fishing boat and spent countless hours on the water looking for the "big one".  Many of those hours were spent solo but many were spent with his father or another family member or a friend.

Brian is survived by his former wife Laura Pelland, the mother of his children Christine Pelland, sons Nicholas and Joshua Pelland, brothers Kenneth (Sharon) and Stephen Pelland, nieces Kassie (Bruno) Luz and Kaleigh (Carlos) Dorado whose families he adored, as well has his parents Roger W. and Claire T. Pelland.  He had far too many close friends to mention, all of whom we are grateful for at this difficult time.

A celebration of Brian's life will take place on October 7th, 2023 at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway Merrimack NH 03054. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM and a brief service will take place at 3:00 PM.
