Brian Alan Robert

Brian Alan Robert, 58, of Litchfield, New Hampshire, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, after a courageous nine-year battle with cancer.

Born in Laconia, New Hampshire, on July 15, 1967, Brian was the son of Donald and Judith (Swain) Robert. He was raised in Tilton and graduated from Winnisquam High School in 1985 before continuing his education at Keene State College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science.

After graduating, Brian began his teaching career as a social studies teacher at Rochester Middle School in Rochester, New Hampshire. He later joined Elm Street Middle School in Nashua, where he dedicated 20 years to educating and inspiring his students before retiring in 2021.

Above all else, Brian treasured his family. Kristen was the love of his life, his best friend, and his constant partner for 33 years. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and countless memories while raising Alexa and Andrew, who were the greatest source of Brian's pride and joy. Whether he was watching Andrew compete on the track or cheering Alexa on from the sidelines of the softball field, Brian was always their biggest fan. Nothing brought him greater happiness than celebrating their accomplishments.

Brian also had a lifelong love of history and enjoyed fishing, spending time at the beach, driving his beloved 1968 Mustang, and being outdoors. A devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, and Philadelphia Eagles, he rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite teams. Friendly and outgoing, Brian never met a stranger and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone.

Brian is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Kristen Robert; his daughter, Alexandra ("Alexa") Robert; his son, Andrew Robert; his brother, Bruce Robert; his nephew, Dylan Robert; his sister-in-law, Kerry, and her children, Joe and Jaime; and his sister-in-law, Katelyn Dobmeier, her husband, Ryan, and their daughter, Kennedy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, New Hampshire. Funeral services will be held privately.

Brian will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his dedication to his students, his warm heart, and his remarkable ability to make friends wherever he went. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched and in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
