Carol "Kay" A. Bailey, 75 of Merrimack, NH died Sunday May 21, 2023 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH after failing health.

She was born in Manchester, NH on January 4, 1948 a daughter of the late William M. and Katherine F. (Keefe) Duncan.

Before retirement, she was a custodian for the Merrimack School District and owner of the Crafty Ladies Gift Shop where crafters could sell their items.

Carol's passion was sewing.  She sewed countless numbers of bibs that her daughter-in-law used at her childcare center for all those babies and toddlers!  She would sew and make craft gifts for all occasions. She enjoyed the warm weather and being at the beach. She enjoyed spending time with her grandsons while they were growing up and would talk about the amazing trips they had taken together.

Carol is pre-deceased by a brother William Duncan and also by three sisters, Barbara Bureau, Betty Gagnon and Becky Messier.

Members of her family include two sons, Arthur F. Bailey III of Merrimack, Matthew Bailey of Colebrook and daughter-in-law Lisa Worster of Columbia and a daughter Heather Firicano and her husband Joseph of Merrimack; five grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Nathaniel, and Jacob Bailey, and Tyler Firicano.  She also has one great granddaughter, Jaelyn Cobb.  She was very close to her niece, Kathy Azotea of Merrimack. She also had several nieces and nephews whom she held close to her heart.

Memorial calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH Tuesday May 30, 2023 from 5-7 PM.  A memorial service will be held at 7 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions St. Jude's Hospital.
