Carole Brown of Merrimack passed away on April 20, 2022 at the age of 82 following a series of illnesses.  Carole was born on December 27, 1939 to George and Edna Stevenson in Tredegar, Wales.

In 1961 Carole married Douglas Brown in Finchley, England. During Doug's career with the US Navy, they resided in Scotland; Rhode Island; Coronado, CA; and Utah.  Upon Doug's retirement from the Navy, they settled in Merrimack in 1979.

In addition to raising her own children, Carole provided childcare in her Merrimack home for many infants and toddlers over the years.  She was an avid gardener and took great pride in her many flower beds. Upon retirement she and Doug enjoyed traveling and searching for treasures in antique shops.

Carole was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her two brothers Terry and Dennis.  She is survived by her four children Lori (Jim) Davis of Goffstown, Deborah (Jim) Wogsland of Cottage Grove, WI, Robert Brown of Whispering Pines, NC, and Stacy Suttle of Raleigh, NC; and her ten grandchildren.

Carole's interment will be held at the Boscawen Veterans Cemetery at a future date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory.
