Charles Joseph MacDonald Jr., 65, of Merrimack NH, passed away on Sunday November 22 ^nd at the High Point Hospice House in Haverhill MA.

He was born on July 31 ^st , 1955 in Boston MA. He was the son of the late Charles and Loretta MacDonald. Charles lived in Hudson NH and was a graduate of Alvirne High School.

Charles served in the U.S. Army for 20 years during the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf Conflict. For many years, Charles worked for Hillson Contractors.

In his free time, he enjoyed farming and gardening. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

Charles will be missed by his wife Tracey MacDonald of Merrimack NH; his children Jai Boyer of Nashua NH, Jamie MacDonald of Ft Lauderdale FL, Chantel MacDonald of Colorado, Sandra McDougall of Merrimack NH; brothers Joseph MacDonald and his wife Libby of Nashua NH, George MacDonald and his wife Holly of Milford NH, John MacDonald and his wife Charlotte of MA; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Xavier, Javian, and Jeramiah. Besides his parents, Charles was also predeceased by a sister, Jeanette LaFrance.

A Funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday December 11th at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen NH.
