Obituary

Charles Cervantez Anthony Pizano, 72, went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2020.

He is survived by the love of his life for 43 years, Jean (Nichols) Pizano. His children and grandchildren, Erik Pizano and son Erik Pizano Jr; Krista (Pizano) Fitzgerald & husband Eric Fitzgerald; Megan Pizano and children Anthony Pizano, Elysia Pizano and Kennedy Pizano; Denisa Pizano and husband Jeremy Dunham and children Madeline,Iris and Cora Dunham and his brothers Robert Pizano and Tim Pizano take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his parents (Manuel and Velia Pizano), brothers (Manuel, David,Richard and Stephen), friends and granddaughter.

Charlie was born on February 7, 1948 with a fight in him that stayed through his death.

His pride and joy was his family and close friends.  He loved them all especially his wife Jean of 42 years.  He adored her and the evidence of that bond was shown daily.  He loved his children and grand children immensely and was always there with them, and for them .

El Jefe, as he was known to some, was a hard worker. A work ethic that was shared by his wife and passed onto his children.

He was a minister who practiced what he preached. A man of sincerity and truth, his relationship with Jesus Christ was a light that he shared with the world.

He was a brother who played pranks and loved a good laughed.

He was a pool player, karate student, theologian and cook. He would read The Federalist Papers and put on some Johnny Cash or watch The Wild One.

He was our rock, friend and Superman.

We will always remember him with a smile and we're blessed to have known him. Charlie will be sorely missed by all who had the great privilege to know him.

As you would say...We'll see you here, there or in the air. We love you.
