December 18, 1952 – March 20, 2025
Cheryl Ann (Buechi) Baker, 72, of Merrimack NH, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, March 20th, 2025, after a long 12-year battle with cancer.
She was born in Buffalo, NY on December 18, 1952, daughter of the late Ervin and Shirley (Bauer) Buechi. She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lancaster, NY and Millard Filmore Hospital School of Nursing in Buffalo, NY. She spent her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, most recently working at Easter Seals in Manchester, NH.
She will be forever loved and remembered by her husband of 51 years, Gilbert Joseph Baker; her daughter, Jennifer Lynn (Baker) Moran and her husband Tim Moran; her grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylee, Sawyer and Alyvia Moran; three siblings, Thomas (Betty) Buechi, Linda (David) Orovitz and Janice (Glenn) Caron; along with many nieces, nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Cheryl was absolutely devoted to her family and friends, as she was endlessly dedicated to sacrificing all her time and energy to ensure they got the most out of life. Her faithful and motherly love and guidance enriched the lives of everyone who was blessed to know her. Whether a backyard cookout, a camping trip, or a holiday party, Cheryl's cheerful and feisty personality always invigorated a spirited energy for all those privileged to share her company. Cheryl changed the world for the better, leaving an eternally loving impact on all those she cared about. This tender and matchless impression she left on the world has offered all of us a caring path forward and a bedrock of compassion and support that will allow us to continue to celebrate life. Cheryl's memory will infinitely live within our hearts and souls, and she will be dearly missed.
