Christine M. O'Connell, 78, of Merrimack passed away on Friday, January 1st, 2021 at the Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua after a period of declining health. She was the widow of the late Cornelius Joseph O'Connell who died on December 23rd, 2006.

She was born in Quincy, MA on January 24th, 1942 to the late Austin and Catherine (Glazebrook) Curtin. She was raised in Quincy and was a graduate of North Quincy High School.

Christine worked for the Merrimack School District as a librarian for 27 years before she retired in 2007.

Along with her late husband C. Joseph, she was a parishioner of Merrimack Valley Baptist Church in Merrimack for many years.

She will be forever loved and remembered by:

• Her daughter Kelly Gagliardi and son-in-law Mark of Campbell, CA
• Her son Timothy O'Connell, daughter-in-law Lily and granddaughters Vanessa and Cassidy of Buda, TX
• Brother Bud Curtin and sister-in-law Linda of Halifax MA
• Brother James and sister-in-law Patricia of Norwell MA

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Thursday, January 7th from 4 – 6 PM. A funeral service will be held at Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack on Friday, January 8th at 11:30 AM. Burial will be in the NH State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen at 2 PM.
