Obituary

Christopher A. Duval, 44, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident. Born in Nashua, NH on June 2, 1980, Chris was one of four sons to Lucien and Dianne (Valcourt) Duval of Milford, NH. He was a graduate of Milford High School in 1999.

Chris was a chef and took joy in feeding people. He made the world brighter with his signature grin, big hugs, and playful nature.  Chris was an avid fisherman and loved going on his yearly fishing trip with his closest friends and family. However, his greatest joy was being a dad to his two children, Ella and Chris, Jr., and a loving husband to his wife, Lisa.  Being a dad was the role that truly defined him, his eyes would light up at the mention of his kids and his world revolved around them.

Chris will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Lucien and Dianne; his wife of 16 years, Lisa (King) Duval; his two children, Ella Duval and Chris Duval, Jr.; three brothers, Scott Duval, Robert Duval and his wife Penny, and Roger Duval and his wife Jennifer; his in-laws, George King and Donna King, Jess King, and Amy King and her husband Joe Garrison; seven nieces and nephews, Brandon, Dustin, Robert Jr., Ashley, Michael, Zoe, Samuel, George, and Maggie; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, NH on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 1 – 3 PM with a brief memorial to be held in the funeral home at 3 PM. The family asks that you "come as you are," as Chris would want everyone to dress comfortably.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Chris's memory can be made to End 68 Hours of Hunger or the New Hampshire Humane Society.
