Claire Dubois

Claire Dubois, 77, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Saturday June 13th, 2026, after a period of declining health.

She was born in Nashua, NH on December 7th, 1948, to the late Julien and Bella (Trudel) Duclos. Raised in Nashua, she graduated from Saint Louis High School in 1967. After high school, Claire married her loving husband Robert “Bob” Dubois in 1969 and moved to Merrimack, NH in 1974 where they raised their three children, Scott, Sean and Sue. Claire also worked in the Merrimack School District for many years until her retirement in 2015.

In her free time, Claire enjoyed going to craft fairs, baking, traveling and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents Claire is predeceased by her sister Theresa (Duclos) Smith and her four brothers, Emile, Arthur, Ronald and Norman Duclos.

Claire is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Robert Dubois; her two sons, Scott Dubois and his wife Jennifer, and Sean Dubois and his wife Sarah; her daughter Sue Dubois and her significant other Rebecca Hazen; her four grandchildren, Alexandra Koehlert and her husband Martin, and Megan, Caleb, and Raelyn Dubois; and her sister Jeanne Bennett.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday June 18th from 5 – 7 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 19th at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mercy Parish located at 16 Baboosic Lake Road in Merrimack, NH, with a burial to follow at the Last Rest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Claire’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
