Constance E. Dumont, 88, of Allenstown, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 16th, 2026 at Bedford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Bedford, NH.

She was born on May 13th, 1937, at Malden Hospital, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Ruth Simpson and grew up in Belmont, MA. She graduated from Belmont High School and later earned a degree from a secretarial school. Connie was the beloved wife of Robert Edmund Dumont for 62 years until his passing on December 5th, 2020.

Connie devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great‑grandmother. She was actively involved in her community, enjoying gardening, bridge, square dancing with her husband, and hosting gatherings for friends and family. She especially cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter and son‑in‑law, Linda, and David Desrochers; her son and daughter‑in‑law, Robert LeRoy and MeiLani Dumont; grandchildren Derek LeRoy Serach (Joy Hurwitz), Breanne Gereke, Caitlin Desrochers, Aaron Fox, Erica Seracusa, Steve Seracusa and KaiDan Dumont; and great‑grandchildren Ruby, Ari, Atticus, and Avelina.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bedford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, especially her nurse Breanna, for their compassionate care.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Friday, May 29th, 2026 from 5 – 7 PM. A private burial will be held in Bedford Center Cemetery in Bedford, NH at the convenience of the family.
