Obituary

Constance "Connie" Weaver was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully on November 2nd, 2024, at the age of 96.

She was born to Arthur and Stella (Roth) Blouch on January 31st, 1928. After graduating from Liberty High School in 1945, Connie went on to graduate from Bethlehem Business School, excelling in the secretarial arts. She used these skills at Bethlehem Steel, Lehigh University, and the Visiting Nurses Association.

Connie was married to James E. Weaver who preceded her in death. Together they had 5 wonderful children, James E., Jr (1961), Jeffrey Weaver, Kathy Yuhas and her husband Jon, Timothy Weaver, Susan Albert and her husband Brad. Among her ever-growing family were 12 grandchildren, Alison, Erin, Emily, Constance, James, Elizabeth, Jessica, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Sara, and Rachel. As well as 12 great grandchildren, Lucy, Anthony, Marilyn, Scarlett, Oliver, David, Roman, Levi, Barrett, Maxwell, Ada, & Iris and countless nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Blouch (Evie), and her sister Patricia Conklin (Donald).

Connie was an avid quilter, knitter, and lover of books. She would spend countless hours reading and relaxing indoors and out. Connie was a member of Colonial Quilt Guild and the Hannah Dustin Quilt Club where she fostered friendships and laughter on various quilting trips and endeavors. Connie was also a member of the Our Lady of Mercy Church Knitting Group, creating warmth and tenderness through donations of various items to the local elementary schools and David's House. She also enjoyed involvement with the Reeds Ferry Women's Club, and the Merrimack Senior Citizens.

A service will be held at Cantelmi-Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, PA, on Saturday, November 16th. For more information, please refer to the Cantelmi-Long Funeral Home website.

A celebration of life will be held in Merrimack, New Hampshire at a later date. Information will be posted on the obituary listed on the Rivet Funeral Home website once arrangements have been made.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Connie's memory can be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
