Obituary

Constance L. Belisle Welch of Merrimack NH passed away on February 6, 2021 at her home. She was born in Manchester, NH on October 13, 1944. She is the daughter of the late Roland and Yva Belisle. She is the beloved wife of John J. Welch, the mother of Karen Butterfield and her husband Daniel of Merrimack, NH, her son Kevin Welch of Merrimack, NH, grandmother to Kailee Goodale Belanger, Katelyn Goodale, Jessica Butterfield, Timothy Butterfield, Kevin Welch Jr, David Butterfield, and Kyla Welch, and great grandmother to 8 great grandchildren. In addition, Connie is survived by her sister Patrica Roy, her only sibling.

Connie grew up on the west side of Manchester, NH and attended West High School. While attending school, she worked her first job at the Manchester Shoe Shop where she met her husband of 56 years. They have been together since the age of 16 and she knew they would be inseparable. Connie graduated in 1963 and shortly after she got married on April 11, 1964.

Connie and her husband moved to Topeka, Kansas when her husband was stationed at Forbes Airforce Base. She became a mother to her daughter, Karen Welch. After her husband was honorably discharged from the service, they moved back to their hometown to be reunited with family. She became a mother once again to her son Kevin Welch. Her family moved to Merrimack, NH to raise their growing family where they still reside to this day.

Connie worked for Ammons Electronics and after for New England Circuits until the company shut down. She used this opportunity to work with children as an in-home childcare provider for over 12 years before officially retiring.

Connie and her husband used this time to travel to places they've always dreamed of, her favorites being Hawaii and Bermuda. When she wasn't traveling, she often stayed with her family in California. Connie's passion was her family. She loved to take photos, play games, and cook for them any chance she could. She also enjoyed writing letters and recipes for her family and friends.

Connie's wishes were to share these words from a poem of remembrance, "Speak of me as you have always done. Remember the good times, laughter, and fun." There are no services or calling hours at this time.
