Obituary

It is with deep sadness and immense love that we announce the passing of Craig William Francoeur, who ended his inspirational fight with cancer and left this world on October 31, 2025. Craig passed away surrounded by his devoted wife, Tricia, and his loving family. A treasured husband, father, brother, son, friend, and coach, Craig's legacy of love, compassion, friendship, and strength will be carried on by all who knew him.

Craig was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, on August 10, 1982. He graduated from Nashua High School, where he played lacrosse and formed many friendships that he cherished throughout his life. He went on to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where he continued playing lacrosse and creating more lifelong bonds. Craig spent two years employed by Underground Testing and Services and then devoted many years working for Bellevance Beverage Company before finishing his professional career as a Project Manager with Kali Construction.

On July 28, 2012, Craig married the love of his life, Tricia. Together, they built a beautiful life and a joyful family of five, lovingly known as the Francoeur5. Craig took great pride in his family and the life they shared. Whether cheering at the kids' sporting events, attending community activities, or hosting family gatherings, the Francoeur5, led by Craig, was always a source of joy, laughter, and energy.

Craig was a larger-than-life personality, a big man with a big voice, a big smile, and an even bigger heart. He poured his whole self into everything he did: relationships, work, sports, and volunteerism. His goal was always to leave things better than he found them, and he rarely missed that mark. His presence could light up a room the moment he entered it. Once the life of the party, he later became the host and still the life of every gathering.

Craig loved to cook, whether in the kitchen, on the grill, or at his smoker. He once said, "I just love to give people good food and watch their face turn to joy when they eat something great." For Craig, feeding people was an act of love and he was right. He also cherished deep, meaningful conversations, whether with lifelong friends or someone he had just met.

A passionate coach, Craig dedicated many years to coaching boys and girls lacrosse at various levels. He had a special place in his heart for the underdog and a rare gift for helping his players believe in themselves. His booming "Coach Voice" and endless encouragement inspired confidence and joy in countless young athletes long after they left the field.

Craig's greatest passion was his family, his wife, Tricia, and their three beloved children. His legacy will live on in the lives of every player, teammate, friend, and family member he touched.

Craig is survived by his loving wife Tricia and their three children Julia, Colin, and Kenna; his father Bill Francoeur; his brother Jason and wife Nicole and sister Shyla and husband Nick; and former sister-in-law Melissa and husband Marc. He is also survived by his in-laws Bill and Debbie Donnelly, Charles and Abbey, Renee and Jen, and his adored nieces and nephews Preston, Ashton, Kyleigh, Noah, and Leila.

He was predeceased by his beloved mother, Shelley Francoeur.

Craig's warmth, compassion, strength, competitiveness, and deep love for his family, friends, and community will be profoundly missed and forever remembered.
