Cynthia E. Prince

Cynthia E. (Burnard) Prince, 72, long-time resident of Merrimack NH passed away on Saturday, April 25th, 2026, at her home.

She was born in Corona, CA on December 12th, 1953, daughter of the late Steven Burnard and Priscilla (Pratt) Hoover. She was a graduate of Merrimack High School in 1972.

Cynthia worked in the Operations Center for Indian Head Bank for many years before retiring in 1991. She enjoyed cross-stitching and collecting Grateful Bears, spending time with her husband David and daughter camping either at the beach or by a lake. Cynthia loved watching NHRA drag and was on the pit crew for her husband Dave. She helped with the NH Special Olympics. She was a member of the Merrimack VFW 8641 Auxiliary but most importantly was an excellent wife and mother.

Along with her parents, she was pre-deceased by her son Joseph Lisee and a brother-in-law, Richard Prince.

She will be forever loved by her husband she was married to for 19 years, and together for 43 years, David Prince; her loving daughter Jennifer Lisee; three siblings, Steven Burnard, James Burnard and his wife Paula and Patricia Danzing; in-laws, Roger Prince, Diane and her husband Arthur Brunelle and Marie Prince along with several nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Infant Jesus Church, 121 Allds St, Nashua NH on Monday May 4, 2026, at 10 AM. Burial will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Nashua.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Cynthia’s memory can be made to the Merrimack VFW Post 8641 Woman’s Auxiliary, 282 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054.
