Daniel S. Fiore, 94, of Bedford, NH and formerly of Amherst, passed away on Monday, September 16th, 2024 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester after a period of declining health.

He was born in Mineola, NY on January 7th, 1930 to the late Daniel and Alice (Dolly) Fiore. Raised in Mineola NY, he was a graduate of Hofstra University.

He was a proud Korean War Veteran with the United States Marine Corps. and the recipient of the Korea Service Medal, United Nations Korea Medal, National Defense Medal and the Korea War Service Medal

He worked for General Microwave Corp as a consultant and enjoyed listening to jazz, writing his memoir, visiting with his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, drinking fine scotch and living the great life he lived to the fullest.

He was pre-deceased by his wife of 70 years, Cynthia Rose (DeMarco) Fiore on April 7th, 2021.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his three children, Daniel Fiore II, Deborah Hawkins and Cynthia Fournier; his grandchildren, Jason Fiore, Sr., Kristine Range, Danyele Auditore, Karl Kammann IV, Jessica Kammann, Derek Hawkins, Gawan Fiore, Samantha Fournier and Stephanie Fournier, along with "many, many, many" great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

An hour of visitation will be held on Monday, September 23rd from 9 – 10 AM at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack NH at 10:30 AM followed by burial at Last Rest Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Daniel's memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
