David W. Dutton, 76, of Pepperell, MA passed away on Thursday, February 24 ^th , 2022 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton, MA after a brief illness.

He was born in Concord, MA on February 20 ^th , 1946 to the late Warren and Grace (Butler) Dutton. He was raised in Carlisle, MA and graduated from Concord Carlisle High School in 1964.

David proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1965 to 1969 as a machinist and was honorably discharged at the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was employed at Lund International as a machinist supervisor for 26 years. David loved going to NASCAR races with his son, Brian.  He was an avid Boston sports fan.  David spent hours in his flower and vegetable gardens.  He enjoyed fishing at his camp on Governor's Lake in New Hampshire with his family and friends.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 51 years, Claire (Chase) Dutton; his son, Brian Dutton and his wife Rebecca of Derry, NH; two grandsons, Andrew and Nathan; two sisters, Vivian Boehm of Lowell, MA and Ruth Aldred of Sterling, MA along with several nieces and nephews. David was pre-deceased by his brother, Dale Dutton.

Services will be private.
