David
Peterson
May 12, 1953 – March 26, 2022
David Peterson, 68, of Nashua, NH, born and raised in Winchester, MA, passed away on March 26, 2022. He was the beloved husband to Michelle Peterson for almost 50 years.
David was an entrepreneur at heart, owning and operating two video stores in the Woburn/Winchester area. After becoming an empty nester, he moved to Nashua where he was a Quality Control Inspector at Benchmark Electronics. David was loyal to his occupation and it was no surprise that his coworkers became family to him.
For those who knew David well, knew of his gifts for cooking, humor, and storytelling, but most of all, knew about his passion for music. He was an avid drummer, drumming on everything he could: his drums, the table, walls, and always the car steering wheel. His drumming spanned over 52 years, across 7 bands and 1 album. He especially enjoyed playing for his family and friends at weddings, fundraisers, and parties.
David was a devoted family man who loved hosting epic Thanksgiving dinners and celebrating the Fourth of July in grand style. David was predeceased by his parents Joanne Milano (Giacalone) and Charles Peterson. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Peterson, and his three children: Jessica Levensalor, Melinda Walton, son-in-law Todd Walton, and his son David Peterson, Jr. David is also survived by his sisters, Cindy Clark and Lori Peterson, as well as 9 nieces and nephews. David's legacy will live on through his grandchildren: Dylan, Cody, Quinn, Zander, and his great granddaughter Natalie.
David's family welcomes all to pay their respects at a Memorial Calling Hour at the Rivet Funeral Home at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, NH on Saturday April 9th from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. A brief service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 PM. A celebration of David's Life will be held immediately afterwards at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Nashua at 2 Somerset Parkway. Please come and share your favorite memories and stories with family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, to honor David's nephews, please consider a donation to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (https://www.mda.org)
