Devin James Gillogly passed away unexpectedly in Kent, WA, on October 29, 2024, at 32 years old.
Devin will be missed everyday by his father, Raymond Gillogly, his mother, Melissa Howe, his son and only child, Allen Rupert Bardroff, his grandmother, Delores Frost, and his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, as well as many other family and friends.
Devin attended Merrimack High School, where he graduated in 2011. He was a member of the National Honor Society and FIRST Robotics. It was at Merrimack High where he met and fell in love with his girlfriend Kirstin Bardroff.
Together, he and Kirstin relocated to Florida shortly after graduation for college. Devin went on to graduate from DeVry University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering Technology.
After graduating, Devin and Kirstin relocated and settled in Washington State. There, he went on to attend the University of Washington for Coding Boot Camp – Full-Stack Development, graduating in 2020.
Devin continued living in Kent, Washington, while working at Philips.
Devin lived life authentically to himself and was strong in his convictions. He had both a passion and knowledge for technology and robotics. He enjoyed listening to rock music, spending time playing video games, and Magic Cards.
He was also very adventurous and enjoyed traveling. In his 32 years of life, he lived in four states; he was not afraid to move across the country and give a new city a chance. He was also no stranger to international travel, and his favorite destination he visited was Japan.
Devin is preceded in death by his girlfriend Kirstin Bardroff, his Grandparents, James and Patricia Gillogly, as well as other family members.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 6th, 2024, at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery located at 40 Heald St in Pepperell MA.
