Donald Francis Perkins, 84, passed away May 3rd at the Crestwood Center in Milford.
He was born in Hudson NH but lived most of his life in Merrimack NH. Donald served his country with the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Improve Machinery in Nashua, which was later bought out by Ingersoll Rand for 32 years prior to retirement.
In his free time Donald enjoyed woodworking, yard and garden work, fishing, camping, traveling, and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.
Donald is predeceased by brothers Leslie, Richard, Robert, Fred, Karl, and Buddy Perkins, sisters Emma Gilmore, Ruby Junkins, and Effie Bates, and a grandson Christopher Perkins.
Donald is survived and will be dearly missed by his wife of 61 years Anita (Houle) Perkins of Milford, sons Wayne Perkins and his wife Priscilla of Merrimack, Michael Perkins and his wife Vicki of Milford, a brother Kenneth Perkins of Merrimack, a sister Alice Greening of New York, grandchildren Justin, Jennifer, Shannen, Shawn, a great grandson Shawn Jr.
There will be no calling hours and a graveside service will take place on Tuesday May 17th at 11 AM at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.
