Donald Robinson, 68, of Merrimack, New Hampshire passed away on Sunday, October 29th, 2023. He was surrounded by the warmth of his loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Nevada on June 3rd, 1955. Don was raised in many towns and cities in Massachusetts before moving to Merrimack, New Hampshire where he resided with his wife of 42 years, Darlene Robinson.

Don was a welder by trade but could often be found fixing cars, woodworking, gardening, playing cribbage, and lending a hand to anyone in need. He was an enthusiastic sports fan (mostly Boston) and was often cheering and hollering in front of the TV during game time. Don also loved music. His iPod mini was full of his favorite classic rock songs that you could find him humming or even singing along to any time he had the chance.

Don loved traveling and exploring new places, especially with Darlene, sister-in-law Donna and her husband, Kevin. From a quick trip to Canada, to a trip across the country to visit more family in California, to weekend adventures all over New England to explore new towns, and more. He loved making new memories with the people he loved.

Don will be deeply missed by his wife, three children and their families: Dan and his wife Danielle, Becky and her husband Billy, and David and his husband Kemar. One of Don's greatest joys was his role as Pépère to his grandchildren: Logan, Joe, Quinn, and Emmett. His presence will forever resonate through his siblings: Ken, Sharon, Steven, Rick, and Jeanne. He will also be missed by Kelsey, Ella, and his many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Don was predeceased by his parents Kenneth Robinson and Kathryn Filamond, his sister Janice Filamond, and his stepmother Marie Robinson.

Relatives and friends are kindly welcomed to attend calling hours on Saturday, November 11th from 12 – 2 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.
