Doreen Murby, age 88, of Merrimack, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, New Hampshire, following a period of declining health.

Doreen was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Herbert and Edna (Filleul) Oxley of Goffstown, New Hampshire. She was also predeceased by her former husband, Raymond Murby, and her brother Herbert Oxley.

Doreen was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, including tending to her flowers, enjoying the beauty of the ocean, gathering for weekly coffee visits with her friends, and sharing quiet moments at home with her beloved cat, Lily.

Doreen will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her presence will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her loving children: Sharon Murby – Hall; Scott Murby and his wife Patti; Lisa Damon and her husband Eric; and Matt Murby and his wife Becky. Doreen also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Ryan, Marisa, Mariana, Amy, Dan, Kari, Spencer, Sarah, Alexandria, and Donovan, along with several great grandchildren, all of whom brought tremendous joy to her life.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday March 10, 2026, at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, New Hampshire, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel. A burial will take place immediately following the service at Pine Grove Cemetery, 765 Brown Ave, Manchester, New Hampshire.
