Doris Jean (Ackerman) Foss, 82, a longtime resident of Merrimack passed away on Friday November 26 ^th , 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Nashua daughter of the late Robert and Francis Ackerman. Doris attended Light of the World Christian Church of Milford and in her free time she enjoyed traveling including cruises, family trips to Disney World, but most of all she loved spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren.

Doris will forever be missed by her husband of 64 years William G. Foss, sons James W. Foss and his wife Mary-Beth of Clarksville, TN, Joseph M. Foss of Merrimack, daughters JuliaAnn D. Foss of Milford, Janet M.Pellitier and her husband Charles of Nashua, brothers Richard Ackerman and his wife Diane of FL, Roland Ackerman of Manchester, grandchildren Melinda, Adam, Stephen, Andrew, Jessica, Benjamin and six great grandchildren with another one on the way.

Besides her parents, Doris is predeceased by a son Jeffrey Foss, a brother Robert Ackerman, and sisters Carol Danis and Sandra Graveline.

With respect to Doris' wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will be held at Last Rest Cemetery also located in Merrimack.
