Douglas M. Johnson, 61, of Merrimack and Wakefield, NH died unexpectedly on October 31,2022.

He was the son of the late Roger and Virginia Johnson of Bedford, MA.  Doug was educated in Bedford Schools and graduated from Shawsheen Technical High School in Billerica MA.

Doug traveled the country playing fast pitch softball and riding every roller coaster he could find.  He pursued a career in carpentry following his father's footsteps and worked for years as a Construction Superintendent.  He had the ability to fix just about anything.  He was most proud of being a Papa and enjoying his grandsons. He loved to cook, play golf, watch the Bruins and Patriots and old westerns on tv.

He is survived by Ellen Johnson and their two children, Allison Mazerall MacGuire and her husband Douglas MacGuire of Hooksett, NH and David Mazerall and his wife Jarica Lafountain Mazerall of Merrimack, NH; three grandsons, Reid MacGuire, Graham MacGuire, and Bodie Mazerall; his brother, Michael Johnson and his wife Sheila of Chelmsford, MA; his sister, Virginia Marfongelli and her husband Michael Marfongelli of Belmont, MA; his aunt, Edith Dungan of Chelmsford, MA and several nephews.

Calling hours will be Monday, November 7 ^th from 4 - 6 pm at the Rivet Funeral Home and Crematorium, 425 DW Highway in Merrimack NH 03054. Interment will be private at a later date.
