Obituary

Durean Emma Caron, of Vero Beach Florida, died November 22 nd , 2021 at home with her family by her side.

She was born in Henniker, NH, daughter of the late Paul and Eleanor Cooper. She graduated from Hillsboro-Deering Cooperative High School and attended at Elliot Hospital for the School of Nursing.

Durean was known by her family as "Deanie", she had two sisters Marvis and Cynthia deceased, brother David deceased and she is survived by Larry her baby brother, that she loved dearly, and he always made her laugh and smile. She grew up on Chick-A-Biddy farm in Deering, NH. Durean was an above average student & an All-American Athlete in High School. From there, she followed her dream to become a nurse.

Durean married a sailor and traveled often living in 37 homes, while raising her children. Her adventures and stories were many, starting out in Africa where sadly she lost her second son, Steven. Retirement days were spent building houses alongside her husband in their business, B & C Development in Merrimack, NH. She was known for her open caring home and was affectionately known as "Meme'" by everyone. She volunteered her time at St. Helen's Catholic School cafeteria and was always in the pickup line for her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. She loved dancing with my father, playing cards with friends, sewing, gardening, and watching her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their many activities. Everyone was welcome in her home.

She married Francis Oscar Caron (Frank Caron) on April 19, 1952, at St. Joseph Cathedral, Manchester, NH.

She is survived by her children, Son Robert Michael Caron, Daughter Brenda Diana Perrault, Sons David Patrick Caron, Timothy Wayne Caron, and Mark Anthony Caron. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren and her 28.5 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will take place in the family plot at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack, NH on Monday, July 18 th , 2022 at 11 AM, where she will be laid by her husband of 65 years Frank Caron.
