Dwight "Skip" Putnam Sackett III, of Hollis, NH, passed away on Monday, October 9th at St Joseph Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. With his original roots in Melrose, MA, he has spent the past 15 years residing with his wife in Hollis, NH. Dwight's professional career focused in sales, most noticeably in the automotive world. He enjoyed many hobbies, including the British Car Club, and in particular was a Jaguar enthusiast. Skip could often be found outside gardening, riding his lawn tractor and tending his koi pond while listening to Bob Dylan.  His love of cooking and woodworking also kept him busy. With his generosity and warm smile Skip was well loved by friends and neighbors alike.

Skip will be deeply missed by his wife of 17 years Janice Durgee, sons David Sackett and his wife Michelle of Dracut, MA, Jon Sackett of Plymouth, MA, daughters Alexandra Sackett of Plymouth, MA, Jill Fillip and her husband Justin of Merrimack, NH, brother Robert Sackett and his wife Lisa of Franklin, MA, sister Elizabeth Rossi of Melrose, MA, grandchildren Kathryn, Lauren, Sophie, Ryan and his beloved dog Rocco.

Relatives and friend are kindly welcomed to attend calling hours on Saturday October 14th from 2 – 5 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home located at 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.
