Edward A. Bellemore, 66, of Portsmouth, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 14, 2022 surrounded by his family.

He was born April 10, 1955 in Manchester to Roger and Lorraine (Tanguay) Bellemore of Merrimack. He graduated from Merrimack High School and went on to proudly serve in the United States Air Force. After his time in the service, settled in Greenland where he raised his family.

Edward worked at Novel Iron Works in Greenland for 30 years and most recently worked for CHI Engineering in Portsmouth before retiring in 2020.

He will be lovingly remembered as a hard worker who enjoyed the outdoors, writing, and his family. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He was also fiercely independent and had a sarcastic sense of humor. To know Ed was to love him; and his life was full of people who loved him immensely.

In addition to his mother, surviving family members include his 3 children, Jessie Carter and her husband Mike of Greenland, Marlene Sutton and her husband Richie of Exeter, Joshua Bellemore of Portsmouth and their mother, Ed's former wife and lifelong friend, Peggy Page of Greenland; siblings include, Ron Bellemore of Merrimack, Linda Bellemore of Merrimack, Mike Bellemore and his wife Laura of Gilmanton and Lori Bellemore of Merrimack; and grandchildren, Bella, Macie, Mikey and Maddie as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his siblings, Roger "Sonny" Bellemore and Richard "Dick" Bellemore.
