Obituary

Eileen M. (Richard) Bianchin, 87, of Merrimack, N.H., passed away peacefully on Aug. 10, 2023, in Kaneohe, Hawaii, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born Nov. 30, 1935, in New Brunswick, Canada, Eileen was a daughter of the late Fredrick Richard and Barbara (Savoie) Richard. She moved to Fitchburg, Mass., when she was 13. She later met the man of her dreams, Robert Bianchin, and they married on Sept. 10, 1955. They were married for 51 years. Bob died in April 2006.

They moved to Merrimack on June 24, 1977. Eileen worked for Sodexo at a coffee kiosk at Digital (which became Fidelity) of Merrimack, where she was well known for her ability to remember everyone's coffee order and have it ready just as they arrived. She earned quarterly awards for her kindness and service. She also worked as a waitress at the Coach House Inn in Lunenburg, Mass., for many years and at the Singapore Restaurant in Nashua.

She leaves her son, Brian Bianchin, his wife Lori, and grandchildren Celeste and Andrew, all of Kaneohe; and a sister, Janet Hamel of Englewood, Florida. She was predeceased by a sister, Freda Ciosek, and a brother, Gerald J. "Jerry" Richard.

A Mass will be held Sept. 9, 2023, at 9 a.m at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd in Merrimack. Committal to the grave will be at Last Rest Cemetery following the Mass. The Funeral Mass will also be live streamed on the church website https://olmnh.org/
