Eileen J. McKenzie, 72, of Lowell, MA died peacefully on Wednesday, November 10 ^th , 2021 at Lowell General Hospital.

She was born in Lowell, MA on August 6 ^th , 1949 to the late William J. and Gracia M. (Lapointe) Auger. She was a lifelong resident of Lowell and graduated from Lowell High School.

Eileen became an Activities director, working for several nursing homes throughout the Merrimack Valley area.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.  She had a great sense of humor and never passed up an opportunity to make someone laugh. She had always enjoyed cooking and gardening.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Alan J. McKenzie, along with her three siblings, Dorothy Brown, Armand Auger and Pauline Plouffe.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her two daughters, Lisa Hawkes and her husband Spencer of Bedford, NH and Renee O'Shea and her husband Michael of New Ipswich, NH; four grandchildren, Ryan, Erin and Kaitlin O'Shea and Mackenzie Hawkes, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita's Parish, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell, MA on Thursday, November 18 ^th , 2021 at 11 AM. Burial will be held private for the family.
