Elizabeth "Liz" Elwarner, 69, of Merrimack, NH passed away on Sunday, August 4th, 2024 at Southern NH Medical Center in Nashua, NH after a period of declining health.
She was born in Nashua, NH on November 15th, 1954, daughter of the late Herbert and Sophie (Goy) Ouellette. Raised in Nashua, she graduated from Nashua High School in 1972 and received her Bachelors degree in Art Education from Plymouth State University in 1976.
Liz was a planner at Digital Corporation and also a picture framer at the Casual Cat in Amherst for many years. Her most beloved job was raising her children. In her free time, she enjoyed weaving, knitting, beadwork, crosswords, and spending time with family.
Along with her parents, Liz was pre-deceased by her brother, Glenn Ouellette.
She will be forever loved by her devoted husband of 41 years, Charles "Chuck" Elwarner; two children, Andrew Elwarner and his wife Elizabeth and Stephanie and her husband Brandon Cox; three grandchildren, Cahra, Brooke and Ryan; three siblings, Ann and her husband Normand Mercier, Martha and her husband George Cudd, sister-in-law Martha Ouellette, and John Ouellette, along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Friday, August 9th from 4 – 7 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Saturday, August 10th at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Nashua, NH.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Liz's memory can be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America.
