Elizabeth Howe, 69, of Merrimack passed away at her home on Friday January 30, 2015 after a long illness.

She was born on January 2, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Richard and Eleanor (Leech) Leidich.

Elizabeth graduated from Central Bucks High School in Bucks County, PA in 1964. She studied art at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia, and later acquired a nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1971. She worked as a school nurse for Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Tempe, AZ for several years, and always maintained her passion for art and sculpting.

Elizabeth is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years, John Howe; a son, Matthew Howe of San Diego, CA; three daughters and three sons-in-law, Rachel and her husband James Kinville of Nashua, Amanda and her husband David Johnson of Nashua, and Margaret and her husband Daniel Vinson of Killeen, TX.

Calling hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Wednesday, February 4 from 6 – 9 PM. A memorial service will be held at St. John Neumann Church, 708 Milford Road, Merrimack NH on Thursday, February 5 at 10 AM.
