Elizabeth (Betty) L. Masse, of Nashua (Formerly of Orrington Maine and Bedford Massachusetts) passed away peacefully on Thursday June 1st at home surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob) J Masse Sr. She was born in Orrington, Maine July 2nd 1934. The youngest of 5 children to Maurice and Eudora King. Betty was a devout Roman Catholic Christian who had a firm belief that her soul would join her Lord and beloved husband Bob. Betty's main focus was taking care of her family over the years and in her free time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crafts, but most of all spending time with her family especially her grand and great grandchildren.

During a KOC dance Betty met and fell in love with Bob. Their marriage in 1956 would span the rest of their lives producing a beautiful and close family.

Shortly after their marriage Bob proudly served in the US Army after which they would move to Waltham and have their 3 children. In 1965 they moved to Bedford, MA where Betty helped produce the bulletin at St. Michael's Church. They made many friends who they are still friends with today.

In 2000 Bob and Betty bought a condo in Estero Florida. They made many friends through Golf, Bocci and Wii Bowling.

The highlight of her week was her outings to the Panda Hair Salon. There she was pampered by Priscilla, Michelle, and Chris.

Betty will be deeply missed by her children Robert Masse Jr. and his wife Sharon of Windham NH, David Masse of Merrimack NH, Donna and her husband John Coughlin III of Merrimack NH and Daughter-in-law, Sandy Giordano.

Betty is survived by her sister Alice Provost. Betty was predeceased by Carlton and Rosie King, Dorothy and Ardine Moody, Katherine and Rolland Chesley, Arthur Provost, Rita Malley and Ann Snodgrass.

She was grandmother to Scott and Megan Masse, Ryan and Rebecca Masse, Christina Masse, Heather and Eric McLaughlin, Jaclyn and Derek Peterson, Lisa Masse and Andrew Moulaison, John and Leia Coughlin, Tyler and Jessica Coughlin, Meaghan Coughlin and Connor Cote. Great grandmother to James, Olivia, Erin and Joseph Masse. Ellie and Sofie McLaughlin, James and Jax Peterson. Brothers-in-law John Snodgrass and Raymond Malley.

Betty will be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

We would like to add our appreciation for the support and assistance provided to us through the Visiting Nurse Association and Right at Home. Especially Jody, Brenda, Henry, Ruthie, Michelle and Chuck.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Thursday June 8th from 4 – 7 PM at the Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack, NH. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM On Friday June 9th at St Kathryn Church located at 4 Dracut Rd Hudson, NH with burial to follow at Newton Cemetery 791 Walnut St Newton, MA at 12:30.
