Elizabeth "Betty" MacGuire, 92, formerly of Merrimack passed away on Tuesday, April 28th, 2020 at Nashua Crossings after a period of declining health. She was the widow of the late Ralph MacGuire, who died in 1988.

She was born in New Castle, DE on July 31st, 1927 to the late Gladys (Butler) Jellison, and step-daughter to the late Augustus "Gus" Jellison.

Along with her husband Ralph, Betty was also pre-deceased by her daughter Barbara Hartford in 2018.

Betty was an avid Ten Pin bowler who maintained a 150 average into her eighties. She also loved road trips with her daughter Barb to the ocean, Foxwoods and Amish country as well as cheering on the Bruins.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her two sons, Rick MacGuire and his wife Karen and Gary MacGuire and his wife Gail; grandchildren Karin Hartford Mortimer, husband Tim and their children Tyler and Katie; Mary MacGuire Noce, husband Todd and their children Ava, Jack and Cole; Jamus MacGuire, wife Julie and their children Ella and Clara; Molly MacGuire; Doug MacGuire, wife Allison and their son Reid; Ashley MacGuire Flanagan, husband Matt and their daughter Sloane.

Due to the recent public health concerns, services will be held privately for the immediate family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
