Elliot "Tony" Hart, 77, of Merrimack NH passed away on Friday, February 28th, 2025 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a period of declining health.
He was born in Portland, ME on January 3rd, 1948, son of the late Emery and Helen (Sabasteanski) Hart. Raised in a military family that moved often, he was a graduate of Scarborough High School and received his Associate degree in Business from Hampshire College.
Tony enlisted in the U.S. Army and served from 1967 – 1969 when he received his honorable discharge at the rank of Staff Sargeant and was awarded a Bronze Star for his service. He then went to work as a bank manager and then in 1977 he went to work for Anheuser-Busch and worked his way up to becoming a master brewer and safety manager until his retirement in 2010.
Tony was a very active member of the Merrimack community, coaching youth soccer and was inducted into the Merrimack High School Wrestling Hall of Fame in 1997 for a lifetime of dedication to the wrestling booster club. He loved to travel with his wife and go on cruises.
Along with his parents, he was pre-deceased by three siblings, William and Stephen Hart and Cathy Monroe.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife of 41½ years, Suzanne Hanson-Hart; his children, Michael Bolduc and his wife Anna, Randy Bolduc and his wife Lisa, Ashley Hart, Laura and her husband Eric Lambert, Jessica Hart and Shannon Hart; eight grandchildren, Benjamin, Maddie, Lilly, Sam, Mae, Sarah, Emily and Zach; 4 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jim and Dennis Hart and Sharon Grecko along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Friday, March 7th from 4 – 6 PM with a service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 6 PM.
