Obituary

Eva Paes Goulart, 59, of Merrimack, formally of Medford, MA, passed away on Tuesday April 4 th , 2023 at the Community Hospice House surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born in Peabirú, Paraná in Brazil, daughter of Expedito Paes De Souza and Maria America De Souza. Eva moved from Brazil to Massachusetts in 1989 and then to Merrimack in 2001. In her free time, Eva loved animals and nature, enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing, antique shopping, trips to the Cape, good food, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. Always a gracious host, she enjoyed keeping everyone well fed. Her adventurous spirit, creativity, kind heart, sense of humor and love for all will be greatly missed.

Eva will be deeply missed by her husband of 38 years Francisco Aires Goulart, son Lucas Paes Goulart, daughters Karoline Paes Goulart and Gabriela "Gabby" Paes Goulart. Eva is survived by her 12 siblings in Brazil and the US and many extended family members who loved her dearly. Also, her companion for naps, cuddles, and paw holding, Levi, the family dog.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours from 6-8 PM on Friday April 7 th at the Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday April 8 th at 9:30 AM with burial to follow at Last Rest Cemetery in Merrimack.
