Evelyn C. Cross, 88, of Merrimack passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the Crestwood Center in Milford, NH after a period of declining health.

She was born in Concord, NH on June 24, 1934 to the late Earl and Angeline (Labrie) Smith. She was raised and educated in Concord and graduated from St. John's High School.

Evelyn was pre-deceased by her husband Edward G. Cross on May 17, 2011.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her three children, Matthew Cross and his wife Patricia, Jennifer Rood and Tracy Smith; grandchildren Aeryn, Zachary, Shane, Jesse, Abi, and Drew; and siblings Raymond Smith, Louise Gagne, Jerry Smith, and Terry Lovejoy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Thursday, August 11 at 9:30 AM. Burial will be at the New Hampshire Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen at 11:30 AM.
