Florence Mae (Bataille) JanTausch, 92 died Monday Aug. 19, 2013, at the Carlyle Place in Bedford after a period of declining health.
She was born November 20, 1920 in Newark NJ, to George and Mae (Hanson) Bataille.
She was a homemaker for many years and retired in 1979 after 18 years as office manager at Bond Clothes, Edison NJ. After retirement and moving to the Jersey Shore she worked part time as a salesperson at the Squan Youth Center in the Borough of Manasquan NJ.
She was a member of the Elks Lodge, the Manasquan Woman's Club and St. Dennis Church in Manasquan.
She enjoyed her family, the Jersey Shore, writing, video games and playing cards. Florence and her husband of 69 years Henry JanTausch Sr. lived most of their life in New Jersey before moving to New Hampshire in 2007.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Henry in November 2011.
Family members include her three children: Henry JanTausch Jr. and wife Dolores, Merrimack NH; Karen Tolocka, Old Bridge NJ; Paula Kvetkosky and husband Richard, Londonderry NH; seven grandsons: Brian and David JanTausch; Frank and Michael Tolocka; Richard, Joseph and Thomas Kvetkosky; and six great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH on Aug. 24 from 8-930 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack at 10 AM. Following cremation, interment will be in the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at a later date.
