Françoise "Fran" M. Jaczuk, 76, of Merrimack NH died peacefully at home on February 14, 2023 surrounded by family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire, July 8, 1946 to the late Arthur and Marie Rioux. She was raised and educated in Manchester, New Hampshire and received her bachelor's degree from Notre Dame College.

Françoise worked as a Paraeducator working with special needs children at Reeds Ferry Elementary school for over 30 years until her retirement in 2014. While working there, she spent many years volunteering for the Special Olympics. When she was not working or volunteering, she enjoyed travel, time with friends, family and her grandson.

She was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 42 years Francis H Jaczuk Jr. and her two brothers Arthur Rioux and Donald Beaulieu.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her children, Jeffrey Jaczuk, and his wife, Ellen of Massachusetts, Jennifer Jaczuk of Merrimack and Jessica and her husband Howard Handley of Merrimack; a grandson, Jordan Handley and his fiancée Mackenzie Myers; two sisters, Diane Rioux of Connecticut, and Linda Gray of South Carolina, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet funeral home 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH on Thursday, February 23, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady Of Mercy church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH on Friday, February 24 at 9:30 AM. A private burial will be held in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester at the convenience of the family.
